The Rex Theatre

Originally built as a furniture store in 1922, this historic Pensacola building became the Rex Theatre after being purchased by the Saenger Amusement Company in the 1930s. Today, the refurbished, iconic Art Deco marquis once again lights up the night on Palafox Street. A beautifully-renovated interior hosts church services, small-scale live theater, movies, concerts, and other special events.

Featuring individual workstations with desks hand-built by the founders and eclectic interior accents by local artists, the space also includes a meeting room and on-site studio space for Pensacola’s creative community.
